Radcliffe started the stronger forcing Mossley keeper Gibson into making a couple of good saves before taking the lead through Jake Cubbins on 12 minutes.

Mossley hit back and efforts from Arron Barrow and Dylan Fitzgerald nearly found the target, Mossley were playing some nice passing football but could not get a first half equaliser.

At the start of the 2nd half Mossley had the lions share of the play and got the goal they so richly deserved when Arron Barrow shot home from a tight angle .

Mossley continued to press and where unlucky not to get a winner ,hitting the post although Radcliffe looked dangerous on the break with winger Sheldon Barrister going close on a couple of occasions.

All in all, a much improved performance from the Mossley boys who are made up mainly of 1st year students in a division that most teams are 2nd years , if they can build on todays result the future  looks promising.
