It was a big challenge for the Mossley boys playing away at Loughborough Dynamo who had recorded a 10 -1 and 7 -0 victories in their first two games in the Sports Traider Division.

After some good possession play from the home team ,Mossley slowly got a foothold in the game and took a 33rd minute lead with a goal from Dylan Fitzgerald, taking advantage of some hesitance in the Loughborough defence to take the ball wide of the keeper and shoot home .

The Mossley defenders James Sutton and Adam Howarth combining well to keep Loughborough attack at bay.

Mossley keeper Dylan Whittle unfortunately sustained an injury and was unable to resume in the second half. Lawrence Gibson coming on as substitute keeper and he was soon in action saving smartly as Loughborough stepped up a gear and equalised in the 68th minute through a long range shot from Ballantine that eluded Gibsons dive.

On 80 mins an header from a corner was narrowly headed over the bar and a great effort from Ryan Williams was tipped over the bar by the Loughborough keeper,

Loughborough were pressing hard now and got the decisive goal on 88 mins scored by their no 11 Msipa to give them all 3 points.

All in all another very impressive performance from the Mossley boys which hopefully they can take into next weeks home game against Matlock Town
