Appointed manager in June 2010 following John Flanagan's resignation. Former Stalybridge Celtic Reserve and Youth team manager and previously a youth coach at Stalybridge Celtic. Started the season patchily but picked up to enjoy a great FA Cup run and climbed the table to the fringe of the play offs. A terrible run began in February 2011 with a 4-0 defeat at Skelmersdale. The team then picked up only 1 point frrom their next ten matches culminating in Higgins departure in early April 2011. |
