Mossley will want to put this game behind them quickly as they conceded three goals in the space of four minutes in the first half.
Paul Watson opened the scoring for the home side on 28 minutes with a great strike from the edge of the box. This was quickly followed by two defensive mistakes which allowed Richie Livingston to score twice in the space of a minute.
Worse was to follow as the second half was just two minutes old when Livingston was presented with an easy chance to complete his hat-trick.
Mossley improved thereafter and Andy Keogh reduced the arrears on 73 minutes when he turned the ball home after good work on the left by John Buceto, but it was too little too late for the off key Lilywhites.
