Mossley were held to a draw by North West Counties League neighnours Abbey Hey at Goredale Avenue on Saturday.
In what was a patchy game Mossley took the lead on 42 minutes when Andy Keogh's precise through ball saw Kayde Coppin race clear in the box to finish with ease.
Abbey equalised just two minutes later when a superb cross from the left was rifled home with a close range volley by Ashford Blake.
Mossley retook the lead on 58 minutes when Tom Pratt's cross was controlled and blasted home by Dave Short from the edge of the box.
However, Abbey Hey hit back again on 68 minutes when substitute Etu Etuk raced clear to score with a calm finish to leave the scores level at 2-2.
