A Mossley XI were held by a lively youthful Curzon Ashton side in Tuesday night's Seel Park friendly.

Mossley created lots of chances throughout the game but trailed twice. Charlie Ellis gave Curzon the lead against the run of play on 16 minutes and the visitors held on to the break.

Mossley came on strong in the second half and Matty Burke equalised five minutes after the restart.

Curzon retook the lead from the penalty spot when Mo Ali clipped the heel of a Curzon forward and Charlie Ennis scored his second of the game from 12 yards.

The equalsier came when Mossley's trialist left winger was tripped in the area and Matty Burke stepped up to fire home from the resultant spot kick.
