Mossley stormed into an early three goal lead to see off the challenge of 1874 Northwich in Saturday's Seel Park pre season friendly.
The Lilywhites were on the front foot from the off, chasing, harassing and quickly closing down the opposition when out of possession and moving the ball quickly and accurately when in possession.
It took the Lilywhites only nine minutes to break the deadlock when Elliot Harrison brilliantly controlled Jack Tuohy's right wing cross before placing the ball into the far corner.
Three minutes later and it was 2-0. This time Peter Watling unselfishly played in Jack Tuohy who made no mistake from ten yards.
The third followed on 15 minutes as Tom Dean powered home a header from Caldon Henson's long throw.
Chances came and went but there was to be only one further goal as Jack Tuohy scored his second after more neat and tidy Mossley approach play.
The second half saw Mossley use seven substitutes but still totally dominate the game without adding to the score in a largely one sided contest.
