Mossley were given a good test by NWCL neighbours Chadderton in Tuesday's friendly at the ARK Fleetech Stadium before a late double by Ben Halfacre saw the Lilywhites earn a 3-1 win.
Mossley were able to parade new signing Max Leonard and he made a goal scoring debut when giving the Lilywhites a 20th minute lead.
Home keeper Hadlow had already shown good form to keep out several Mossley efforts before Halfacre's flick on saw Liam Ellis through ball release Max Leonard who finished confidently into the bottom corner from 15 yards.
Chadderton had a great chance to equalize but Iluebe saw his header go narrowly wide in a dangerous home raid.
Further Mossley chances came and went either side of the interval but it was Chadderton who had a great chance to score when they were awarded a soft looking penalty. However, Marcus Burgess pulled off a great save and hold to deny Scholes' well driven spot kick.
Though Mossley dominated possession the home side were causing problems on the break and finally found the equaliser in the 77th minute when a through ball split the Mossley defence and Camara took advantage to slot home.
The game looked to be heading towards a draw but the re-introduction of Halfacre changed all that. Having been substituted earlier, the big number 9 returned to the fray to score a well taken quick fire double.
Firstly Halfacre scored immediately after returning to the pitch but the effort was ruled out for off-side but as the game entered it's final throes Dieter Downey's cross from the left saw Ben Halfacre spin past his marker with his first touch and crash the ball home with his second to edge Mossley in front on 89 minutes.
Seconds later Mossley made certain of victory when Danny McLaughlin raced down the right and crossed low for Halfacre to confidently stroke the ball past the stranded Hadlow.
