Mossley romped to a comfortable 9-2 win over Hallmark Security NWCL side Cheadle Heath Nomads in Tuesday's friendly at Wright Robinson College.
Nomads scored the first and last goals of the night but in between the Lilywhites were just one short of a double figure haul in a dominant display.
After Cheadle Heath had taken a 10th minute lead Ben Halfacre fired home to equalize just a minute later and added a second on 16 minutes. Raul Correia got in the act and scored twice in the 25th and 40th minutes to put the Lilywhites 4-1 up at the interval.
Mossley introduced Mike Fish and Dylan Fitzgerald at the break. Fitzgerald taking only five minutes to get on the score sheet but limped off with a foot injury moments later. This came just a minute after Kyle McGonigle had made it 5-1.
Mike Fish scored the goal of the night on 55 minutes with a superb lobbed volley. Abdul Kadiri-Asmaoah smashed home a penalty kick after Fish was brought down by the keeper and Ben Richardson completed Mossley's scoring four minutes from time.
