Mossley romped to a comfortable 8-0 victory at Cheshire Leaguers Denton Town in Thursday night's friendly fixture.
After Denton had conceded a freak long distance own goal in the 5th minute the home side held out until the 30th minute when Dieter Downey's left wing cross came back off the bar and Danny Byrnes reacted quickest to nod home.
Three minutes later a sweet move by the Lilywhites saw at least six players involved in a move which saw Ben Richardson add a third goal.
Mossley went in at half time four goals to the good when Liam Ellis found Mike Fish whjo finished coolly into the far corner.
Five minutes after the restart and the Lilywhites were five up Elliot Harrison's through ball found Fish who set up Richardson for his second of the night.
Fish scored his second from the penalty spot folowing a hand-ball on 68 minutes.
Danny McLaughlin finished well from Fish's pass to make in 7-0 on 81 minutes before Fish calmly completed his hat-trick in the last minute.
There will obviously bve tougher tests to come but an exciting looking Mossley squad is shaping up nicely so far.
