Mossley ran out comfortable winners at North West Counties Leaguers Holker Old Boys on Saturday.
Having been denied by the Holker keeper moments earlier, Adam Latham opened the scoring after just three minutes when he finished neatly from Matty Kay's through ball.
Mossley doubled the advantage on 12 minutes when Latham crossed low from the left for Danny McLaughlin to turn home.
After several chances had gone begging Mossley scored a third as Matty Kay rose unmarked to head home Ben Richardson's right wing corner on 25 minutes.
Playing up the Rakesmoor slope in the second half the Lilywhites continued to dominate but were the victims of their own over confidence when playing out from the back and the Holker #10 capitalized to tap home a soft consolation.
Mossley made it 4-1 on 60 minutes when the trialist right back beat several players before looping a fine left footed shot into the top corner from 20 yards.
Mossley created several further chances but none were taken in what was in honesty a mostly one side encounter.
