WHEEL TURNS FULL CIRCLE FOR BECKFORD

The Lilywhites are without a win in eight league matches as they have slipped into a relegation place in the UniBond League premier division.

It is a far cry from the days when Beckford lifted Mossley from the North-West Counties League through the UniBond League first division to their current status.

Said Beckford: “I have never shirked a challenge and I remain confident we can pull out of trouble, though I admit it looks like being a relegation dogfight.

“My first three years at Mossley went well for me so this is a new experience, and not a pleasant one.”
