Mossley officials have been left fuming after tonight's scheduled Manchester Premier Cup tie against Flixton was postponed for the sceond time today due to a waterlogged pitch.
Mossley are very unhappy with the way the Manchester FA have handled the situation. Alegedly it was two Flixton players who called at Seel Park this afternoon following the 2.00 pm postponement and walked unsupervised around the pitch, technically trespass.
The two then contacted the Manchester FA claiming the pitch to be playable and Mossley AFC were then informed that the game must go ahead by the county FA.
The match referee postponed the game at around 6.15 pm
The game has again been re-arranged for next Tuesday 16th January (7.45 pm).
