Mossley have signed former Rochdale and Port Vale central midfielder Neil Brisco (28) from Conference North club Barrow.
Brisco began his career as a trainee with Manchester City. He then joined Northwich Victoria before moving into the professional game with Port Vale where he made 120 first team appearances between 1998 and 2004.
The Wigan born 6' midfielder then moved to Rochdale where he made 21 appearances. He also had two spells on loan to Northwich Victoria in the 2005/06 season.
Brisco who can also play in defence began the current season with Scarborough and moved to Barrow only last month.
