BRISCO BOMBED OUT

Mossley manager Jason Beckford has released midfielder Neil Brisco after the former Port Vale and Rochdale man made just two appearances for the Lilywhites. He sadly showed a lack of desire and literally strolled through last week's defeat at Matlock prior to being lucky to only receive a yellow card for a dreadful two footed lunge on a Matlock player.

Brisco will now be seeking his fifth club of the current campaign after spells with Northwich Vics, Scarborough and Barrow all ended abruptly.

Meanwhile it is still unclear as to whether the loan spells of Danny Meadowcroft and Mike Flynn will be extended. Meadowcroft will definitely be able to play in Saturday's home game against Frickley Athletic but at the moment it is uncertain as to Flynn's availability.
