MOSSLEY PICK UP FAIR PLAY AWARD FOR SECOND SUCCESSIVE MONTH

04/10/06

Mossley have taken the September monthly Premier Division Fair Play Award. With five bookings from their 7 games put them ahead of nearest challengers Whitby Town who had six bookings from the same number of games. A good September has also put Mossley in front of the Season Table with a total of only 5 cautions. Mossley will receive the award of a 1.5 litre bottle of Famous Grouse Whiskey prior to the kick off of their home fixture versus Witton Albion on Tuesday 10th October.

In the First Division Cammell Laird took the honours with four bookings from 6 games and whilst Kidsgrove Athletic came out with exactly the same average they did not qualify for the monthly prize due to only having played three qualifying games. Alsager Town were on the tails of Cammell Laird but had two more bookings for the month. However the South Cheshire club currently lead the First Division Season Table with only 8 bookings so far. Cammell Laird will receive their award prior to the kick off of their home FA Trophy tie versus Rossendale United on the 7th October.
