TRIPLE SIGNING FOR MOSSLEY

Mossley have made three signings ahead of Saturday's home game with promotion chasers Hednesford Town

Veteran midfielder David Eyres (42) began his career with Morecambe, Southport and Rhyl before moving into League football with Blackpool where he made 158 appearances, scoring 38 goals. He then had a four year stint at Burnley where he played 175 games csoring 37 goals. Eyres then made 108 appearances scoring 19 goals between 1997 and 2000 for Preston North End before joining Oldham Athletic. He made 207 appearances for the Latics scoring 33. He was released from Oldham at the end of last season and has recently been appearing for Hyde United.

Striker or winger Adie Orr (22) played through the junior, youth and reserve teams at Manchester City before being released in 2004. A brief spell with Leigh RMI followed before he joined FC United of Manchester where he scored 18 goals in 32 games for the newly formed club in it's first season, including their first ever hat-trick.

Striker James Turley (25), from Stalybridge Celtic, nick-named 'Turbo', began his career with York City and then played for Scarborough, an initial spell with Stalybridge followed and then a time at Harrogate Town before returning to Bower Fold last season.

The signings follow the recent departure of striker Anthony Bingham who has joined UniBond Division One promotion chasers Buxton. Bingham made 21 appearances for Mossley scoring 6 goals. Also released was Terry Bowker (13 appearances, 1 goal).
