Jason Beckford has signed two further attacking players making it five signings in two days
Striker Chris Ward (25) has signed from Kendal Town . He started his career at Lancaster City where he was a prolific scorer before moving to Birmingham City for a £25,000 fee. Failed to make the breakthrough at St Andrews but did gain further experience with loan spells in the Conference with Forest Green Rovers and Southport before briefly joining Barrow and then Leigh RMI. He was handed another chance as a pro with Lincoln City in October 2002 and finally made his League debut. Ward played 6 times before being released at the end of the 2002/03 season whereupon he moved to Northwich Victoria. He had a spell with Bamber Bridge before joining Kendal.
Speedy right winger Lee Shillito (23) has signed from Conference North side Leigh RMI where he earned a reputation as a direct and skilful goal provider. Shillito was previously with Altrincham, where he graduated through their youth team, and Trafford.
