Farrand breaks foot while Wallace departs

Mossley boss Gerry Quinn has lost the services of two of his pre season signings.

Midfielder Craig Farrand unfortunately broke a foot on his debut against Woodley Sports on Tuesday night and is likely to be out until at least Christmas while left winger David Wallace has taken up the opportunity of a job coaching in the USA.

The likelihood is a switch back to central midfield for Richard Conway and an opportunity for North West Counties League Player of the Year Lee Blackshaw to establish himself in the Mossley team.

Everyone at Seel Park wishes Craig Farrand a speedy recovery!

Meanwhile, following the FA Cup defeat Mossley now have a re-arranged game on Saturday 15th September - 3.00pm at Rossendale United.
