Gerry looking to get back to winning ways

Mossley manager Gerry Quinn will be hoping to get the Lilywhites back to winning ways with tomorrow's visit from Chorley. The Lilywhites have slipped to 13th place and lie just 2 points ahead of Chorley in 14th. This from being on the edge of the play off going into Christmas. The Magpies also have a game in hand.

Gerry had this to say in the build up to the game, " From our point of view we will be looking to put up a far better performance than the last time we played Chorley. We were totally outplayed that night and though we had a weakened team it was still hard to bear ."

" As you well know we are finding it very difficult picking up points at the present time. The fact that the team changes from one match to the next does not help matter. Injuries; unavailability and poor form leading to non selection mean that the team is in constant upheaval. This is no recipe for a successful team as it is no coincidence that the best teams utilise the fewest players during a season. "

" During the past week we have secured the signings of David Conway and Adam Morning. Adam is of course returning to the club and has made an instant impact putting in two very impressive performances. David has signed from Harrogate railway and is the brother of our midfield player Richard. Hopefully David Boardman should be available after recovering from a very nasty injury against Bradford. "
