Mossley's reigning supporters and players 'Player of the Year' Ashley Connor has re-signed for the the Lilywhites ahead of tomorrow's clash with fellow promotion chasers Newcastle Blue Star.

Ashley left in the wake of Gerry Quinn's summer departure but is set for a quick return to the team following Andy Robertson's suspension which sees him missing the next three games after being sent off in his last game for his previous club Ramsbottom United.

Ashley Connor (26) re-joined Ashton United in pre season but was unable to break into the team due to the excellent form of Terry Smith. He since returned to his roots and has again been playing for West Riding League side Marsden FC where his brother is manager.
