Mossley land County youngster

27/03/09

Mossley manager Chris Willcock is delighted to have landed 18 years old Stockport County Academy starlet Lee Jackson on loan until the end of the season.

Jackson, who can play on either wing or full back, goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's Seel Park clash with League leaders Durham City.

Jackson impressed Willcock when playing for County in the pre season friendly at Seel Park and Chris has been monitering his progress and possible availability since then.

Mossley will be without the suspended Daryl Weston (1 match) and new signing Kieran Fletcher (2 matches) for tomorrow's game but Craig Buckley who has been unavailable for the last two games is likely to return.

The UniBond League transfer deadline has now passed with no-one leaving the club, despite several enquiries from other clubs.

Durham will be without defensive midfielder Shaun Bell who dislocated his shoulder last week and 23 goal top scorer Adam Johnston who has surprisingly jumped ship to FA Vase semi finalists Whitley Bay.
