Dan's the Man . . . again!

Mossley have re-signed striker Danny Toronczak on the eve of a potential debut against the club where he made his name.

Toronczak had six seasons at Ossett Albion having originally signed for the West Yorkshire club in August 2001. A prolific scorer in his time at Dimple Wells he notched 143 goals in just 235 games for the Albion.

The 6'2" front man originally signed for Mossley in November 2007 from Belper Town and made 14 appearances for the Lilywhites including 5 as a substitute under Gerry Quinn's management scoring 4 goals.

He left Mossley for Clitheroe in February 2008 but  after starting the present season at Shawbridge he quickly moved to Silsden and then Salford City where he scored twice against Mossley at Seel Park earlier in the season.

Following a change in management at Salford he moved to New Mills from where he returns to Mossley.

Mossley manager Chris Willcock is delighted to have captured Toronczak and said, "Danny has a proven record as a goalscorer but has not been asked to play to his strengths with his recent clubs. I believe I can get the best out of him and I feel he will be an imortant player for us in the busy period to come!"

Surprisingly, departing Seel Park is Danny Self who has disappointingly quit the club due to not being happy at being left out of the team.
