Mossley sign keeper cover

Mossley have signed goalkeeper James Mann from Clitheroe as competition for Andy Robertson.

Ilkley based 23 year old Mann began his career with Rochdale and then had a spell with Leigh RMI. Prior to the 2005/06 season he had trials with Mossley and played in three pre season games for the Lilywhites, a 6-1 win over Glossop (Lee Blackshaw scored Glossop's goal that day), a 4-0 win at Ashton United to help win the Willow Wood Hospice Cup and a 2-1 win at Trafford.

Mann subsequently re-signed for Leigh before moving to Clitheroe in January 2007 He went onto become 'Players' Player of the Year and Supporters' Player of the Year for Clitheroe last season.

Mann is a former Scotland under 18 International who in recent weeks has been playing for Colne in the Vodcat NWCL.
