One in, three out for Mossley

Tom Spearritt

Chris Willcock has signed former Witton Albion and Colwyn Bay captain Tom Spearritt from UniBond League rivals Chorley.

Merseyside based Tom (26) began his career as a youngster with Wigan Athletic, He then played for Southport, Runcorn Halton, Warrington Town, Witton Albion, Cammell Laird, Colwyn Bay, and Chorley. He has been team captain with most of his previous clubs.

Departing from Seel Park are Farai Jackson, Gareth Wager and Matt Easter. Jackson, who has only been at Seel Park a few weeks, was unable to dislodge the outstanding Peter Collinge from the number 1 shirt so the former Colwyn Bay custodian has gone insearch of regular football.

The same applies to Mossley fringe players Wager and Easter. Both players arrived in pre season but their chances of regular action at Mossley were generally limited to substitute appearances and so they also have gone in search of regular football elsewhere.

All three are wished well in furthering their football careers.
