Last minute signings

Lilywhites boss Chris Willcock announced his squad for the new season immediately prior to today's UniBond League opener at Garforth Town.

Signed on the very eve of the season were tall defender Jonathan Jackson from Stalybridge Celtic, goalkeeper Matthew Wrigley who was previously with Stalybridge Celtic and Bamber Bridge and 19 years old striker Nathan McDonald previously with Stoke City and Salford City. Club captain Graham Kay has also now re-signed after spending pre season at Stalybridge Celtic. Jordan Goodeve has also returned to the club after spells with Chorley and Curzon Ashton. Goalkeeper Matthew Wrigley has signed following spells with Stalybridge Celtic and Bamber Bridge. Defenders Scott Dignan, who is the brother of Mossley sriker Danny Dagnan, (ex New Mills and Runcorn Linnets) and Andy Watson (ex Woodley Sports & Rossendale United) complete the new additions.

Retained from last season are:-

Lee Blackshaw, Nick Boothby, Dave Brooke, Danny Dignan, Danny Egan, Leon Henry, Graham Kay, Matty Kay, Reece Kelly and Ben Richardson

New signings are:-

Peter Collinge (Chorley), Scott Dignan (Runcorn Linnets), Matt Easter (Woodley Sports), Jordan Goodeve (Curzon Ashton), Jonathan Jackson (Stalybridge Celtic), Nathan McDonald (Salford City), Kurtis Noble (Ossett Town), Dan Schwarz (Witton Albion), Gareth Wager (Stalybridge Celtic), Sam Walker (Woodley Sports), Andy Watson (Rossendale United) and Matthew Wrigley (Stalybridge Celtic).

Departures are:-

Mike Fish (Curzon Ashton), Kieran Fletcher (?), Chris Hirst (Salford City), James Mann (Harrogate Railway), Alex Mortimer (Salford City), Nathan Neequaye (Glossop North End) and Simon Wood (Brighouse Town).
