Floodlights up and working 12/06/10

Mossley are pleased to announce that their new floodlights have now been installed and are fully functional.

The original lights at Seel Park became a victim of the heavy snow last winter when the weight of snow caused the lighting towers to collapse.

Work finished on the new floodlights late Wednesday night and they were tested for the first time around 11.00pm.

Club Secretary Harry Hulmes said, “It was very satisfying to see them switched on for the first time, as it is the result of lots of hard work and generosity from many people in and around the Mossley area.”
