MOSSLEY SIGN WOODLEY TOP SCORER

Mossley have signed Woodley Sports 12 goal leading scorer Kristian Dennis.

After graduating through Macclesfield Town's youth system Dennis (20) made his Football League debut for Macclesfield on 1st January 2008, away to Rotherham United in League Two.

In November 2008, he joined Ashton United on loan to gain some additional game time. He made his debut on 15th November when he came on as a substitute against Cammell Laird.

He scored his first ever Football League goal for Macclesfield against Barnet on 25th April 2009 as a second half substitute.

In November 2009 he went on loan again, this time to Woodley Sports, a move which was extended for a second month, before he returned to Macclesfield in mid-January 2010. He regularly found the net whilst on loan including a hat-trick against Radcliffe Borough and also scored the opening goal against Mossley at Lambeth Grove in a 2-1 Woodley win

He was released by Macclesfield, along with 10 other players at the end of the 2009–10 season and re-signed for Woodley where he has again been amongst the goals.
