Mossley have re-signed defender Chris Middleton who has spent the last few months playing football in Australia.

The 21 years old skilful defender has returned after a season playing for South Australia Super League club Western Strikers.

Chris began his career with Stalybridge Celtic and had spells with Clitheroe and Ashton United before signing for Mossley in the 2008/09 season.

He made just 8 appearances for the Lilywhites before returning to Ashton United from where he headed off 'down under'.
