New Mossley Manager Shaun Higgins is delighted to announce the signing of hugely talented 19 years old midfield play-maker Chris Rowney from Oldham Athletic.

The Latics starlet (pictured), turned down the chance of a third year at Boundary Park to play part time and gain coaching qualifications. Several Football League clubs are monitering Chris' progress and he is expected to make it to full pro level in the not too distant future.

Higgins said of the teenager, "Chris is a very talented young player. Several offers came his way but he has chosen a different path for now and we are delighted that he has agreed to sign for us."

Also signing for Mossley is 6' 5" central defender Remi Salisbury who played for Formby in the Vodkat NWCL last season.

There are expected to be three further signings over the next few days.

Meanwhile, we wish Andy Russell all the best for the future as he has now signed for our League rivals Chorley.
