Youth teamers chase early honours

Two members of the newly formed Mossley Youth team have been selected from the Greater Manchester Schools Under 18's team to attend trials for English Schools FA Under 18's team in Repton, Derbyshire 26-30th July.

Laurence Zisaruk-Gibson (above left) attends St Cuthberts Business & Enterprise College in Rochdale were he is studying Business Studies & Physical Education.

Laurence was previously with Rochdale and Stalybridge Celtic. He is a strong competitor with good pace and is strong in the tackle. Can operate at either centre back or centre forward.

Tom Clarke (above right) attends Ashton on Mersey 6th Form College were he is studying Human Biology and BTEC Sport.

Tom was previously with Manchester City, Bury & Rochdale and was part of the triumphant Greater Manchester Boys Under 16's Team that won the English Schools Trophy in 2009, as were Anthony Dorney, Tom Robinson and Matthew Chadwick who are also in the Mossley Youth Team Squad. Tom can play anywhere across the back four or midfield. He is another strong competitor who enjoys a tackle.
