Mossley have signed three more players from North West Counties League champions New Mills. The best known of the trio is former Oldham, Chesterfield and Port Vale defender Mark Innes (pictured here in his Latics days).

Glasgow born Innes (age 32) started his career with Oldham Athletic, signing professional forms at the start of the 1997-98 season. He made close to 100 appearances for the Latics, but was loaned out to Chesterfield in December 2001 in a one month spell. He moved permanently to Saltergate at the end of his spell and played 74 league games for the club.

He signed for Port Vale in 2005 and made 28 apppearances. An injury incurred whilst on trial with St Mirren ended his full pro career and he signed for Hyde United upon his recovery before joining New Mills in 2009.

Also arriving from New Mills is young striker Harry Noon. Noon joined the Millers on transfer deadline day last season from Woodley Sports. Noon is joined by New Mills youth team graduate midfielder Andy Bailey.
