LEE SET TO STAY

08 / 06 / 11

Midfielder Lee Rick, who was signed from Hyde in March of this year, has re-signed for Mossley for the coming season.

Lee (23) was the first product of the then Hyde United's newly formed reserve side to make a breakthrough into the first team in the 2006/07 season. Appearing mainly as an unused substitute, he scored his first goal in January 2007 against Blyth Spartans. Lee has also been with Macclesfield Town.

He became more involved with the first team in 08/09 and was soon starting games more regurlarly and made over 100 appearances for Hyde before his March move to Seel Park, making his debut in the 2-2 draw at Salford City on 15th March.

Lee, who made 11 appearances for Mossley, including three from the bench before last season's end, is a player that manager Gareth McClelland rates highly and his signing is a further piece of the jig-saw that will form the new look Mossley team for the coming season.

Meanwhile another away pre season friendly has been arranged. We will play Wigan Robin Park on Saturday 30th July (3 pm) at Robin Park Arena, Loire Avenue, Wigan, WN5 0UH.
