MOSSLEY SNAP UP ASHTON STRIKER

Mossley manager Steve Halford is delighted to have signed long term target and former Droylsden team-mate Chris Denham from Premier Division neighbours Ashton United.

Chris (28) is a strong, skilful and experienced forward who is equally comfortable o0n the right side of attack or down the middle and has a reputation for scoring spectacular goals.

He started his career at Prestwich Heys before enjoying a prolific season at another North Manchester club, Stand Athletic. During that season he also had a loan period at Bamber Bridge.

In August 2002 Chris joined Stalybridge Celtic before signing for Radcliffe Borough in July 2003. By December of that year he had returned to Bower Fold.

He has likewise had two spells at Droylsden, whom he first joined in in June 2005 before rejoining in October 2005 after a brief spell at Ashton United in between.

He joined Altrincham in 2008 remaining there until joining Chorley in 2011 and linking up with Ashton in late 2012.
