Mossley have appointed Matthew Kirkwood as a Football Analyst.

Matthew's remit will be to watch future opposition for the club and provide detailed analysis on players, formations, etc.

Matthew is an FA Level 2 Coach (which he completed at just 17 years old) is about to take a UEFA 'B' badge and is also currently studying for FA Youth Modules as well as working as a scout for Everton Football Club.

He has gained coaching experience with youngsters at Accrington Stanley, Everton, Ashton Athletic and also Wigan Athletic Ladies, also having coached in Spain and in Canada where he worked alongside former Mossley coach Lee Merricks.

21 years old Matthew has a 2:1 BA (Hons) Degree in PE & School Sport from Edge Hill University.
