Mossley have signed former Curzon Ashton attacking midfielder Lewis Nightingale from Goole AFC.

Lewis (age 22) progressed through the Huddersfield Town academy before being offered a two-year scholarship in 2008. During his time at The Galpharm he spent time on loan at Wakefield and Salford City before being released at the end of the 2009/2010 season.

At the start of the following season he joined Bradford Park Avenue before moving onto Ossett Town and then Frickley Athletic in January 2011 before signing for Farsley FC just a month later, signing for Harrogate Railway in the summer from whom he joined Curzon Ashton.
