RICHARDSON GOES
TO CURZON

Versatile player Ben Richardson has today been transferred to neighbours and rivals Curzon Ashton.

Ben (23) re-signed for Mossley in November 2011 after a spell with Woodley Sports. He was originally signed by Chris Willcock in January 2009 from Stalybridge Celtic. Ben previously played for Curzon as a teenager.

He was Mossleyweb Player of the Year in the 2009/10 season but moved to Woodley Sports in November 2010 spending a year at Lambeth Grove before returning to Mossley whilst Gareth McClelland was in charge.

Ben has made just 8 starts for Mossley this season and came off the bench on 6 occasions, scoring 3 goals. In total he made 125 appearances for the Lilywhites scoring 20 goals whilst playing in a variety of positions, including on more than one occasion as an emergency goalkeeper.

Ben goes with Mossley AFC's best wishes for the future.
