HALFORD TWEEKS HIS SQUAD
. . . AND KEEPER COACH RETURNS

09 / 09 / 12

Mossley Manager Steve Halford has tweekd his squad by allowing three players to go and ply their trade elsewhere.

Nathan Taylor, Ben Fallows and Lewis Proudfoot have all been told to look to continue their playing careers elsewhere after all three failed to force their way to a regular shirt at Seel Park.

Taylor was seen as surplus to requirements with the club having five strikers on their books and after failing to find the net in four appearances this season. Left back Fallows, who made 10 appearances for the Lilywhites last season has made only 1 unused substitute appearance this time around, while former Bolton Wanderers teeneger Proudfoot struggled in his only start against Bootle in the FA Cup when he was substituted at half time.

Goalkeeper Xavier Parisi who made several pre season appearances for Mossley after featuring regularly for the Reserves last season has signed for fellow Evo-stik League club Prescot Cables.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper coach Dave Hedley has returned to Mossley after leaving for Chorley only a couple of weeks ago. Dave will still be working at Chorley but has arranged to split his duties to continue working with Mossley number 1 Martin Pearson.
