Mossley have made a double signing as news is released of the departure of last season's leading scorer Sam Madeley. Liam Boswell arrives from North West Counties League side Nelson. Described as a speedy goalscoring wide midfielder, Boswell (age 18) has scored 7 goals in 16 appearances for Nelson this season having previously worked his way through the junior ranks at his home town club Bury, earning a professional contract in 2012 before being released at the end of last season.. Talented hard working midfielder Dean Warburton (age 23) has signed from Curzon Ashton where he has made 5 appearances this season. He was previously with Cheshire League side Knutsford FC helping them to the League title in 2012/13. Meanwhile, striker Sam Madeley’s on-off relationship with Mossley now looks to be finally off. Madeley was the Lilywhites’ top scorer last season as they reached the Evo-Stik Division One North play-offs.
