INJURY BLOWS FOR MOSSLEY
CARROLL AND WELBECK SIDELINED

The bizarre number of injuries we have picked up this season seems to be showing no signs of relenting with Wayne Welbeck damaging ankle ligaments at Salford and then Dougie Carroll incurring a similar injury at training on Tuesday night. Both players could be missing for several games.

Russ Saunders and Charlie Anderson are also injury absentees along with long term injury victims John Bennett and Sam Hind. Ryan Marley and James Blair should both be fit to return next week following lengthy lay-offs while Simon Gallanders has now returned to action. Meanwhile Dean Warburton completes his three game ban on Saturday.

Mossley have made two additions to the squad in the last week, having signed former Manchester United academy right back Matthew Wilkinson prior to Saturday's defeat at Salford, the club have now also signed speedy winger Martin Cosgrave from Bacup Borough with a couple more possible signings in the pipeline.

Recent signing Matthew Tierney has been released following the Salford game while Brandon Windsor has gone to live and play in Spain and Nathaniel Kerr has failed to turn up since before Christmas and looks to have played his last game for the club.
