Midfielder Ryan Hopper has moved to New Mills in search of regular football. The former Accrington Stanley professional joined the Lilywhites in December 2012 after being released by Stanley.

He made 4 Football League appearances for Accrington in 2011/12 and had a spell on loan at Droylsden early last season. He began his playing career as a junior at Manchester United and then Blackburn Rovers before playing youth football for Oldham Athletic.

Ryan made a total of 33 appearances for the Lilywhites. This season Ryan made 10 starts and 2 appearances off the bench. He was also an unused substitute on 10 occasions.
