MATHER JOINS THE MAGPIES
CHORLEY MOVE FOR MOSSLEY STAR

Mossley have lost the services of star left sider Adam Mather who has chosen to chance his arm at Evo-stik League Premier level by signing for Garry Flitcroft's Chorley.

Adam joined the Lilywhites at the start of last season after the briefest of stays at Curzon Ashton and made an immediate impression with some livewire displays at both left back and left midfield and even as a left sided striker. He was Mossley's third highest scorer last season netting 14 goals in 42 impressively consistent appearances.

Adam started his career with New Mills making over 250 appearances for the Derbyshire outfit before signing for Woodley Sports in the summer of 2011 for an undisclosed fee.

Twelve months later he moved to Curzon Ashton, but then joined Mossley before kicking a ball for them.

Adam will be making a quick return to Seel Park, when he along with former Mossley centre back Keil O'Brien will play for Chorley in a pre season friendly at Seel Park on Saturday, 10th August.
