MOSSLEY AFC

Community Information

Mossley AFC are proud to announce that they are expanding next season with the addition of five new teams to run alongside the existing Evo-Stik NPL outfit’s first team.

The club are merging with the Mossley Athletic Junior Football Club, who will bring their under-7’s, 8’s, 10’s and 12’s teams to play under the ‘Mossley AFC’ banner.  In addition the club are also introducing an open aged ladies team.

The junior and ladies teams will join the senior team and all represent the town as Mossley AFC from the start of the forthcoming 2014/15 season. This merger is hoped to be the beginning of even bigger things in the future as the club has ambitions to expand with a widening offer of football for all, and also develop the opportunity to provide a social hub for community, as we work towards the FA’s leading Charter Standard award as a Community Club

You are invited to Seel Park on Sunday 13 July 2014 for drop-in session between 11.30am and 3pm to view an outline of the exciting plans to develop the club and reach out to the local community. A display will be set up in the Boardroom showcasing the vision for the club and Mossley AFC officers will be available for a chat.

You will also be able to watch football on the pitch as the U12s play their final ever competitive game as Mossley Athletic JFC. The team will contend with local Greater Manchester sides and some from as far afield as Macclesfield and Blackpool in the Mossley Trophy Tournament.

It is exciting times at the club at the moment and if you are unable to catch up with our plans on 13 July 2014 please contact the club at info@mossleyfc.com for further information.
