Mossley have signed pacey Nigerian born attacking midfield player
Godwin Abadaki from neighbours Ashton United in time to join the Lilywhites squad for tomorrow's tough FA Trophy trip to Evo-stik League Premier Division promotion prospects Darlington 1883.

Godwin came through Rochdale's youth system and made two Football League appearances in 2012 before signing for Championship side Huddersfield Town in September 2012 on a three month youth loan. He then joined Hyde United in an extended loan deal and further loan periods followed with Southport, Stalybridge Celtic and Workington before his release from Rochdale in May 2014. He then played for Northwich Victoria in the 2014/15 season before joining Ashton United in July 2015.

Godwin's older brother Osebi made 21 Mossley appearances and scored 4 goals for the Lilywhites spread over two seasons between 2010 and 2012.
