BIG KEV IS BACK

Mossley have re-signed experienced central defender kevin McGrath from Evo-stik League rivals Radcliffe Borough.

Kevin (age 30) is a strong and capable central defender originally signed in the closed season of 2013, having been team captain at Maine Road FC in the 2012/13 season. He was previously with Leigh RMI, Flixton and Trafford. He departed to Radcliffe Borough in October 2014.

The Lilywhites have also signed midfielder Callum Warburton. Callum (age 26) is a strong and skilful midfield player signed in December 2015. Callum began his career as a trainee with Rochdale, turning professional in the 2006 he went on to make 4 first team appearances.

Following his release by Rochdale in 2008 he joined Kendal Town and from there signed for Stalybridge Celtic in 2010. He became a regular in their Conference North side before an achiles injury lost him his place. He has more recently been with New Mills.

Callum made his Mossley debut as a second half substitute in last Saturday's defeat at Wrrington Town.

Also arriving at Seel Park is powerful striker Nduoma 'Endo' Chilaka (age 25). Nigerian born Endo arrives from East Midlands League club Holbrook Sports. He previously won representative honours with the England Independent Schools FA Regional and National teams and also represented Regis Rangers in the USA.
