Mossley have been given a bye in the first round of the Frank Hannah Manchester FA Premier Cup. The Lilywhites have won the trophy three times in the last four years and have been given a head start this term as the club came last out of the hat to skip the round in the 15 club competition.

Stalybridge Celtic have entered the competition for the first time while the now defunct Oldham Boro have dropped out.
