North West Counties League club Ashton Athletic are Mossley's First Qualifying Round opponents in the Emirates FA Cup after they beat Worksop Town on penalties in their replayed Preliminary Round tie at their Brocstedes Park home on Tuesday night. The game ended 2-2 after extra time with the Ashton-in-Makerfield side making progress thanks to a 4-1 penalty shoot out victory.
