FISH RETURNS
FOR FOURTH SPELL

Mossley have re-signed striker Mike Fish for a fourth spell at Seel Park.

The experienced front man, now aged 32, originally joined Mossley under Gerry Quinn's management from Stalybridge Celtic in September 2007 and made a scoring debut for the Lilywhites when coming on as a substitute in an away game at Bamber Bridge. He made 13 starts and 18 substitute appearances that season scoring 5 goals.

He went on to become leading scorer for Mossley in the 2008/09 with 20 goals from 33 starts and 10 sub appearances under Chris Willcock.

Mike then transferred to Curzon Ashton in the close season of 2009 but returned to Mossley for a second spell in November 2009 when re-signed by Willcock scoring 9 goals in 17 starts and 11 sub appearances before the end of the 09/10 season.

He scored 12 goals in 37+8 games in the 2010/11 season before he re-joined Curzon Ashton in the closed season of 2011.

A brief spell with Stocksbridge Park Steels followed before he signed for New Mills where he stayed for two seasons finishing as the Millers top scorer in the 2013/14 season.

Mike re-signed for his third spell with Mossley in the closed season of 2014 scoring 12 goals in 30 appearances in the 14/15 season including Mossley's 'Goal of the Season' with a fantastic run and shot at Droylsden.

He scored 8 goals in 32 appearances in the 2015/16 season including a brace in the Manchester Premier Cup final victory over Stalybridge Celtic

Mike hit a rich vein of form, in the 2016/17 scoring 22 goals in 28 appearances for the Lilywhites before making a shock move to Brighouse Town in January 2017.

He then signed for Colne prior to the start of the 2017/18 season, scoring for Colne in the 1-1 draw at Seel Park in August, before re-joining the Lilywhites this week.

Mike has so far scored 86 goals in 237 appearances for Mossley.
