Mossley AFC are really pleased to announce that attacking midfielder Abdul Kadiri Asamoah (18) has been promoted from our U21 development side to the first team squad.

Joint-Manager Dave Wild is understandably delighted about Abdul’s promotion and the example it sets:

“Abdul is a player that I have known a while and his development, especially over the last six months, has been really impressive.

“This is a deserved opportunity for Abdul and hopefully shows all young players that if they put in the hard work and apply themselves, they will be rewarded.

“I’m sure fans will quickly see the quality that Abdul possesses and with the right nurturing and support I truly believe he can become a regular in the first team for years to come.”
