GEE RETURNS TO MOSSLEY
AFTER SIX YEARS AWAY

With the serious matter of a promotion push ongoing for Mossley, the Lilywhites joint managers Dave Wild and Terry Hincks are delighted to have snapped up Gary Gee from Buxton, six years after the midfield playmaker left Mossley for pastures new.

Gary now age 32, began his career as a junior with Stockport County before joining Woodley Sports.

He signed for Mossley in 2012 and went on to play an important role for the Lilywhites, making 48 appearances and scoring 6 goals, as the side reached the promotion play offs and won the Manchester Premier Cup beating Salford City in the final at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park.

Having won the Mossleyweb Player of the Year award that season he then followed manager Steve Halford to Ashton United in August 2013, making over 100 appearances for the Hurst Cross club before again following Halford onto Stalybridge Celtic, Glossop North End and most recently Buxton.
